Special Education

The Author had an extensive career in the area of special education. She taught in public K-12 schools in several districts for twenty-eight years. After retirement, she continued in education by becoming an adjunct instructor at a university where she is responsible for teaching classes and supervising special education interns.

This book depicts her journey into the field of education. She shares some of her various experiences as a special education teacher. Hopefully, some of these experiences and her willingness to be transparent will provide insight and clarity to others who are thinking about or are currently working in the field of special education. It will also provide tips to current teachers who want to improve their teaching performance.
