Spaceports & Spidersilk features science fiction and fantasy for ages 9 to 99. It presents adventures on other planets and in imaginary worlds. Inside these pages you'll find parrots, mermaids, dragons, magic, and strange friends.
In this grouping, the prevailing theme considers strange creatures and how we interact with them. From singing sea creatures to mystical amphibians, and from hugely-powerful dragons to aliens with hygiene issues, the question becomes less about our differences, and more about how they treat us, and how we treat them. I suppose that is all too similar to our interactions with people and creatures we might consider more mundane and commonplace.
