Songs for Children

Music was a spontaneous part of Teacher Gwynneth's daily activities in the classroom. She encouraged the children to express their feelings through dancing, rhythmic movements and singing. Occasionally, they listened to excerpts from classical music when appropriate.

After time allotted for "free play", each day began with a song and the class ended with a good-bye song. Participation was voluntary
