Soft, Inspiring Reflections on Essential Oils comes from my daily use of the oils and my belief that these 100 percent therapeutic-grade oils are precious gifts coming from the planet and the people who have gone to extraordinary measures to make the oils available in their purest forms. This book is born out of personal reflections about each oil. I have written only about the oils that I have personally used for extended periods of time. Each oil has its own unique essence, an exclusive identifying fingerprint. Each oil carries its distinctive imprint, and the subtilties of scent and combination of oils bring a message or a sense of comfort to bring ease or energy to my day, to a situation, to my being. The book is intended to speak to the heart. It is about an inner journey. I would even dare to say it comes from a place of deep reflection. I feel these sometimes-intimate reflections are guided by a Wisdom that is larger than and beyond my own wisdom.
