SOCIAL MEDIA MUSINGS

Since the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, I have posted numerousessays and other commentaries on Facebook. They are of varying length onmatters of politics, international affairs, history, law and justice, science,journalism, education, psychology, health, humor and personal matters. AfterI completed the tenth book in this series on Social Media Musings, I vowed notto include future posts in any other book. Circumstances, however, dictatedotherwise. This part three of my epilogue will bring the total number of separateessays, commentaries, notes, etc., in 14 previous volumes (10 plus two sequelsand parts one and two of an epilogue) to more than 1,500 all denominatedas Social Media Musings. Taken together, this series has been called a multivolumedocumentary or literary archive. As I ve said throughout this series of books, I believe in an informed citizenrythat relies on facts, logic, critical thinking, and reasoned judgment. At a timewhen too many people rely too heavily on social media and the misinformationfrom those sources; at a time when anger and rage too often replace commonsense and critical thinking; it is hoped that the essays and social commentariesin this series of books will inspire dialogue and further citizen involvement intheir communities. This series has been called a multi-volume documentaryor literary archive. I m proud of that. Through diligence and commitment inthe face of fear; through speaking out rather than remaining silent; Democracywill prevail.
