Slavery in the Roman Republic and Human Trafficking in Nigeria

This work gives a detailed overview of what slavery was in the Roman Republic and why it still thrives in contemporary Nigeria amidst the ban on slavery many years ago. It looks at previous works (academic and non-academic) on human trafficking in general and uses the Roman Republic as a guide to offer likable solutions and recommendations to the present Nigerian government concerning human trafficking.
