Skill Enhancement Course in Library and Information Science

This book is based on the syllabus recommended by Dibrugarh University for undergraduate students of skill enhancement course in Library and Information Science. The book will fulfill the requirements of the students as well as the teachers in the provincialised colleges under Dibrugarh University to perform their teaching and learning activities as per the curriculum based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS).

This book is composed of four chapters. Chapter-1 describes the concept of the Library, Chapter-2 describes the Relation between the Library, Management and Education, Chapter-3 describes Information Sources, and Chapter-4 describes the Information Retrieval and Open Access Discovery Tools.

This book will help to enrich the student's credibility to use library, enhance to identify and access the various sources and services, enhance information literacy skill and understand the basics of library activities.
