EnglishSiv Gustafsson has enjoyed every minute of being a professor in Amsterdam, her teaching of population economics and labor economics in small groups of motivated students from all over the world, her research on issues of economics of the family and gender economics, her yearly presentation since 1987 at the European Society for Population Economics of which she was the 1999 president, her work with a select number of promovendi. She has also immensely enjoyed the city of Amsterdam and particularly its 17th century history, in which she has resided at the Keizersgracht.seveus
