Siren's Red Light

Come ride with Ian, Maggie, and Sam as this not-so-prickly family man, ex-topless dancer, and mixed coyote respond from Santa Fe Fire Station 1--a stationary ship of comedy, contemplation, and chaos nestled beneath the arid Sangre de Cristo seas. Calls include an unconscious man endowed with a frozen bag of peas and a conscious man who can't move his limbs... there is a seductive cutter and a literate drunk... a television-filled death with a flying dog and a burned pot of frijoles. As the firefighters share a hearty urge to help others, they limp through a parched quest for greater significance--and an end to their disheartening sexual droughts.
