Silent Voices

Silent Voices are true stories of people affected by gang violence on the streets of Peckham, London, England. The stories are based around the murder of Anton, a young man who was shot in a cold staircase by those who he thought were his friends. Each story is told through the eyes of those involved, his mother, members of his gang, a sister, girlfriend, his teacher, the judge, his surgeon and the investigating officer. The stories are an amalgam of true stories of those on the front line of gang violence. They give an unique perspective on the underlying causes of why people get involved in gang lifestyle and the impact it has on a local community.
