in days to come, when Siddhartha would become a god, he would be there

όταν θα έμπαινε στο ένδοξο, θα ήταν εκεί

when he would join the glorious, he would be there

Ο Γκοβίντα ήθελε να τον ακολουθήσει ως φίλο του

Govinda wanted to follow him as his friend

ήταν ο σύντροφός του και ο υπηρέτης του

he was his companion and his servant

ήταν ο δόρατος και η σκιά του

he was his spear-carrier and his shadow

Ο Σιντάρθα αγαπήθηκε από όλους

Siddhartha was loved by everyone

Ήταν πηγή χαράς για όλους

He was a source of joy for everybody

ήταν μια απόλαυση για όλους τους

he was a delight for them all

Αλλά αυτός, ο Σιντάρθα, δεν ήταν πηγή χαράς για τον εαυτό του

But he, Siddhartha, was not a source of joy for himself

δεν βρήκε απόλαυση στον εαυτό του

he found no delight in himself
