Short History of English Agriculture

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. As the agriculture of the Middle Ages has often been ably described, I have devoted the greater part of this work to the agricultural history of the subse quent period, especially the seventeenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth centuries.
