The Shelter Dog is about a dog that had been abandoned at a shelter and a young man visiting that same shelter looking for a companion for himself. But, more importantly, it's a story of abandonment and the emotional effects caused by being abandoned whether it be dogs or children. This is a feel good story of how this old shelter dog with big, sad eyes became the perfect companion for this young man with a big heart-almost.......
