Shame on Maude! A Lesson in Honesty

Maude and Marvin, a pair of lanky-legged, sandhill cranes, go looking for food during a dry season. After encountering empty fields and predators, they happen upon the garden of Princess Olivia. Maude, however, makes an unwise choice and risks being banned from this bird haven, and in the end, learns the lesson of honesty.This series of ten picture books (A Bird's Eye View of Virtues) helps children see specific examples of common courtesies and, hopefully, increase their vocabulary and bird knowledge at the same time (all the main characters are common birds). Each book contains a glossary and an informational paragraph on the main character species at the end of the story.
