Serving Second follows Hannah Clarke, a recently divorced accountant struggling to rebuild her life after the collapse of her marriage. Pushed by her sister to try something new, she joins a local pickleball league, where she's reluctantly paired with Matt Reynolds—a reserved, disciplined coach still grieving the loss of his wife. As they train together, their awkward partnership evolves into a meaningful connection, challenged by self-doubt, a cocky rival player, and the emotional baggage they both carry.
