Semi & Podge at The Siena Palio

Thrilling adventures await Semi and her brother Podge, two English tabby cats, when they are propelled into a new life in Italy!

It all starts with a plane journey, when they are lifted high into the air in their travelling container, which swings wildly seemingly out of control. At least that’s what Podge, who is terrified of heights, thinks. But it’s when they travel to the Italian city of Siena in their little car called an apey that things really begin to happen!

Two new friends, Isabella and Marco, introduce them to Petra a beautiful racehorse. In two days’, time, she will be running in a famous horse race, The Siena Palio, ridden by Marco. What could be more exciting? Marco has explained there are no real rules and it is, ‘every man for himself.’ But things do not turn out as expected and Semi and Podge suddenly face events that change everything!
