Semantics in Old High German suffix evolution

The aim of the book is to explore how the morphological system of German has evolved historically. There are several components of a morphological system that are subject to change, in particular derivation, inflection, and compounding. These components are not static over time, and a modification in one area of the system can affect how another component of the system operates.
