From her early childhood to her last days in Colorado, this fictional account is based on historical facts, guides readers through this remarkable woman's life and times. Chipeta's story is one of peace and acceptance regardless of race. She is a heroine for all and finally, nearly a century later her story continues through her descendants, and future generations.
