Seafarers

This photo-book by Stefan F Lindberg portrays the life of seamen of today. During the past three years Stefan F Lindberg has been documenting seafaring on widely different trade routes, and he has been aboard 20 ships, flying different flags. The book alternates between being a documentary and a poetic narrative of today’s seafarers – Lindberg’s photographs reflects both vocational pride, knowledge and hard work, as well as solidarity, loneliness and longing. Stephen Cotton, Ove Allansson and Lennart Johnsson textually frame 120 magnificent seafaring images by Stefan F Lindberg.
