Lily Lindstrom, a music history professor at a small Lutheran college in Minnesota, plans to spend the winter searching for a lost love song by Franz Schubert while teaching in the colleges Vienna program. However, as she navigates the streets of Vienna, Lily finds more than shes looking for, including Hungarians cooking up something other than goulash, an upstairs neighbor with a fondness for plum brandy and famous Austrians, and a handsome American doctor from Atlanta, who says hes on special assignment for the CDC.Lilys adventures unfold against the backdrop of present day Vienna, Austria, with all of its charm, gorgeous music and stately buildings.
