Roughing It is a semi-autobiographical travel book an It follows the travels of young Mark Twain through the Wild West during the years of 1861-1867. What had been planned as a trip of three months became an amazing trip of about 3 years traveling around 3,000 km. This book tells of Twain's adventures prior to his pleasure cruise related in the "Innocents Abroad".
