Roman Historical Sources and Institutions

This volume of papers presents studies by individual authors on topics relating to Roman history and historiography, such as the origin of the Tarpeian Rock, Dio Cassius on epigraphic sources, and centurions as alternate commanders for corps of auxiliary soldiers. This is the first in a series of volumes that will alternate between historical and philological topics.
