Japan and Nepal have emerged as nations of considerable importance in the politics of Asia. Nepal being a buffer state is playing a crucial role in foreign policy of both the neighbours India and China. Recently due to the Mao's insurgency, it has become the centre of terrorist activities as such, it has become all the more necessary especially for India to pay attention to the problem.
