River of Fire

River of Fire is set in a small village in Transylvania Romania. The villagers are facing a problem with one of the shepherds. They feel that it must be solved, or they will all be destroyed. Ivan, the shepherd, thinks that he is the only one who has the right answer to problems. Nadia, a neighbor, has other ideas. How do Carl and Edmund fit into this story? Will the villagers besuccessful in helping Ivan? What will happen to the sheep?Visiting distant lands has always held a great fascination for the author. This story is set in Transylvania near Dracula's castle. Sheep herds being cared for by shepherds are a common sight in this area. The shepherds face a number of challenges; some of those are found in this story.The author has always loved writing, but her life weaved across many paths before reaching a place where writing could be prioritized. She feels fortunate to have spent much of her life serving children in public schools in Arizona.
