Rita the Right Fielder Comes Clean

Rita the Right Fielder has a problem. She procrastinated on studying for her spelling test and doesn't know how to spell some of the words. She copies another student's work but doesn't tell her teacher. When she is at practice later that day, she misses several easy throws. Coach Threads asks her what's wrong and she admits that she cheated and feels guilty.

Coach Threads teaches Rita an important lesson about honesty. When Rita admits what she did to her teacher, she realizes that being honest makes her feel good about herself again. Honesty, Rita learns, is always the best policy.
