Sorcha is a young country girl who makes it to the top in the big, bad world of newspapers. From a farming family, she learns her trade in country papers before graduating to a main newspaper in the big smoke, Dublin. There, she rises to the top in a profession renowned for its back biting and betrayals, making it on her own verve, skills, and sheer tenacity. Along the way, she has a lot fun.
