Detective Paige Marshal is about to learn that her black and white world, is anything but. Lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike, lurks an evil which threatens to destroy our world. Creatures, long thought fictional, are real. And Paige Marshal is about to be plunged into the world of eternal night; the world of vampires. Paige has to decide her fate. She will need all the help she can get. This help will come in the form of a strong and lethal predator; a man who gave up on love over 300 years ago; a vampire. Can this man who was once a mighty soldier, finally unleash the chains which bind his heart? Can he trust himself to love again?
