Retribution

Jake poured himself a glass of wine and started to ponder his family life. Here I am in my early fifties, pretty much missed the upbringing of my three girls, separated at 40, and subsequently divorced from a beautiful lady, not only in looks but in every respect. All my own fault. To be fair Teresa did say to me that she was tired of worrying when I was out on tour or on a special assignment, and I did say I would retire from the army when I was 40 (which I did) but I then moved to special operations working for the British government and the CIA.....
