Events in the contemporary world are available through a great variety of media and most of them consist of images, seemingly reflecting some "e;reality"e;. Yet there is no clear understanding what constitutes reflection, image, cultural symbolic designs and who is the reflecting Self. The text investigates the difference between visuality, images, vision and the different concepts of reality which are at the base of our understanding of the great varieties of means for reflection - from theological to technical.
