Refinery(ies) / Works for Social Compensation

It is currently state policy and the policy of the State Oil Company of Ecuador to intervene in the remediation and compensation works in the neighbourhoods affected by pollution, which is briefly described in detail in this project, taking into account the objectives of the social, health, citizen welfare and compensation work that has been carried out. The object of the study is to analyse the social compensation works for pollution in the neighbourhoods surrounding the Esmeraldas refinery that have been carried out in recent years by REE and national government bodies.
