I knew the profession of editor as a child because of my family.Every time I saw my mother make alterations and drawings on proof sheets, paste pictures, fill in forms, check on pages and copy drafts with red and blue pens, I thought it was very colorful, interesting and novel. My mother often talked about such words as "e;fixed price"e;, "e;lining papers"e;, "e;exhibiting goods"e; and "e;ordering goods"e;, which made me deeply interested in this strange field of book publishing. I thought it was good to be an editor because I could edit books and also read books at the same time. Therefore, I began to admire and respect such a profession.Now when I think about that, it might be the moment of enlightenment for my career dream.
