Raj Kapoor

The greatest showman of Indian entertainment, actor, producer and director Raj Kapoor has had a tremendous influence on Indian cinema. His journey in cinema started the age of 10, and spanned close to 80 films over 55 years. Born on December 14, 1924, in Peshawar, British India (now in Pakistan) he was a pioneer in the use of music in Indian films, working with some of the best composers, lyricists, and singers of his time.
