Radiological diagnosis of bone tumors

Bone tumor images have a variety of etiologies, which is why a systematic diagnostic approach is essential.The aims of this book are to provide a good understanding of the radiological semiology of a bone lesion; to provide the various points of analysis: the number of lesions, frequency arguments, clinical elements, lesion localization, limits and tumor matrix, appearance of the cortical and periosteal reaction; to discuss the most likely diagnosis and appropriate management.Standard X-rays and CT scans clarify lesion boundaries, matrix mineralization, cortical status and periosteal reaction. Magnetic resonance imaging provides information on lesion content and shows extension to the soft tissues.This book is intended for radiology interns and practicing physicians.
