Provoke

Provoke is a 21st-century, 24-year-old's interpretation of circumstance. Poetry, for me, is both a tool for self-exploration and a rearview mirror. At its core, this book is about vulnerability. I seek to take emotions - singular or layered - and unpack their contextual dimensions.

My voice has echoed across stages in the Middle East (UAE, Oman, Egypt), and it felt time to translate those experiences to paper. My writing orbits around one constant: descriptive detail. I believe we passively react to what relates to us, but actively respond to what resembles us. This book aims to illuminate every familiar corner, curve, and sentiment within the concepts it explores.

Throughout these pieces, the reader will witness distinct mood shifts - a reflection of my daily emotional highs and lows, mirroring my personal psychological turbulence. My hope is that this book leaves readers with an instinctive urge to heal.
