Prospects for the development of solar energy

Numerous studies in the field of improving the efficiency of solar energy, as well as operating experience determine the feasibility and prospects for the introduction of solar power plants. The results of these studies have shown that the optimal technical characteristics and thermal schemes of solar power installations are determined mainly by the effective provision of the necessary energy capacity and the location of areas of solar energy consumption with appropriate climatic conditions. The issues of improving the reliability and resource of thermal equipment of solar power plants are not studied enough. The necessity of solving these issues determines the relevance, goals and objectives of the presented work.
