Lottie Merchant is supposed to be dead. Instead, she's staging a coup.

Or trying to, anyway.

She's cut off from her lovers and her friends, the leader of the rebellion can barely stand her, and she's relegated to a glorified courier. Her uselessness is growing unbearable.

When a planned attack goes terribly wrong, and Lottie is spotted at the scene by her enemy, she makes a split-second decision that nets her a dead Hound and a startling surprise. The general is administering Project Titan, his secret super soldier serum, to his own soldiers, and they're far more formidable than she could have ever imagined.

Desperate to fix her mistake, she scrambles for information to help the rebels only to be the one to inadvertently destroy a carefully-laid network of resistance. The odds are not in their favor, and Lottie is terrified not everyone will make it out alive.

One thing she does know - if she's going down, she's taking people with her.
