Prehistoric fish catches in New Zealand

The research which forms the basis of this volume began more than 20 years ago during a project of regional archaeology in Palliser Bay, New Zealand. A considerable quantity of fishbone was found in the excavations but there was no established reference material in New Zealand or methodology for its analysis.
