Pray Or Be Prey

The events of that dreadful night leading to the arrest still haunt the former bard and graduate of the Bard's College from Kalos Cathedral. All he remembers is an incident where something or someone suddenly approached, stabbed him with a needle and then everything went dark. When he regained consciousness in a jail cell, a warden informed him that he had been under the influence and had murdered his wife with his own hands. The man insisted he was innocent, , demanding to be released. The warden explained even if he was innocent, there was a legal process he was now forced to accepted and would have to "e;wait in line"e; like everyone else who cried "e;I'm innocent."e; The man didn't understand how this could happen. In his anger, he made a decisive choice to cease praying and using his gift the Trigonous bestowed him and the moment he declared this, he changed and became the one thing his wife never wanted him to be. A bitter unbeliever.
