A chapter is given to each candidate as follows: Henry Jackson on Plato, Cratylus, chapters 42–44; James Adam on Pindar, fragment, 131; A. W. Verrall on Aeschylus, Eumenides, 734–743; Walter Headlam on Aeschylus, Agamemnon, second Chorus; William Ridgeway on Aeschylus, Supplices, 304 sqq. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in Ancient Greek and classical studies at Cambridge.
