This handbook is designed to support the start of your journey to becoming a teacher. Before becoming a student teacher, we have practicum. This practicum experience may be the first chance a college student has had the chance to volunteer in an elementary school. This hands-on experience is so valuable and is the first opportunity to see if a career in education feels right.
