One embodiment of this system includes a power control for an electrically powered water treatment apparatus having electrode cells. The power control comprises: - a master power supply unit having a control input;- a slave power supply unit having a control input;- a current sensor adapted to measure the electrical current flowing through the cells of the water treatment apparatus;- a voltage sensor adapted to measure the voltage applied to the cells of the water treatment apparatus.
