Political philosophy

The present writing is a compilation of articles based on several investigations, which was the product of a research group called Tiempo Cero of the UIS, whose purpose is to develop a reflection to each reader to form a critical point of view. Then, the investigation launches as a result four articles. On the one hand, in the first writing, it is possible to observe a relation and a difference between the Iusnaturalism of Antigone and Hypatia. In the second paper, a comparison between the concept of Justice by Plato, Aristotle, St. Augustine and St. Thomas and the best form of government exposed by each one is appreciated. On the other hand, the third article, aims to relate Antigone by Sophocles and the speech offered by Jorge Eliecer Gaitan "The Political Country and the National Country" to address the political problems of Colombia that, we suggest, can be understood in the light of the two works. The fourth article, aims to examine the idea of social freedom proposed by the characters in the novel "Brave New World" from Rousseau's point of view and thus make a clarification on the freedom of the individual.
