Police Psychology

Police psychology is a specialised field of psychology addressing issues specific to police personnel and other public safety workers. Police psychologists work in three main areas supporting police forces to: enhance police organisational structures processes, enhance police operations and by providing services for officers and their families. Today's police experience extreme stress caused by criminals with advanced technology which leaves no footprints as well as court systems which often prevent punishment of the guilty.
