About the Book Poetic Encyclopedia is a compilation of poems written by the author; it cuts across poetic genres, reflecting upon all (or virtually) different aspects of poetry. This work is borne out of a need to describe different aspects of human life via the use of poems, thereby making poetry as an acceptable medium of expressing rather intricate and often difficult emotions, moods, situations, circumstances, and events.This book also includes a poetic tribute to late Professor Akindele (former dean of the faculty of Engineering, University of Lagos, Akoka). Poetry in itself is life.
