Poems for the Better

This book of poetry is a collection of writings written from my lived experiences over the last several years. Around half of these pieces were written while I was serving time in jail. The others were written while I was in detox, treatment centers, sober living, and all throughout my recovery journey. I write to help in healing myself and others. I write to relate, connect and to tell my story. I also write to share some of the things that I have learned along the way. Finally, I write to support, encourage & inspire the still struggling addict and alcoholic. I hope this book reaches far and wide, to leave a lasting and positive spiritual footprint on those that come across it.
