Pocket Verses

Reading the Bible was not on my radar. For many years I kept it hidden on a shelf in my bedroom. Tossed in there like any ordinary book. Until one day, sometime after my journey with Jesus began, I had this sweet, whispering thought Read the Word.

When I was finally obedient, I discovered a treasure I didn't even know I was searching for, treasures of truth that began penetrating and transforming my heart, my mind and my life. A passion was ignited in me that I couldn't quench, so I began carrying verses with me in my pocket, snippets of the Word that I could always have with me.

From the page, to my pocket, to my heart and my life and now to be shared with you I trust these verses will help you as they have helped me. May the learning, the growing, and the transformation continue on. Sherry was born and raised in Canada. She moved to the United States many years ago, and now lives in Illinois with her husband Todd, a retired soldier in the U.S. Army. She and her husband have four grown children, three boys and one girl. Sherry enjoys traveling, snowy days and hot tea. She loves spending time with family and friends and is passionate about learning and teaching the Word of God.
