Pictowords

Pictowords, with a foreword by Shutaro Mukai, presents a project Baumann & Baumann carried out together with eighty students over the course of eighty hours at the Musashino Art University, Tokyo. Countless word-pictures and pictorial words were created. Barbara and Gerd Baumann develop comprehensive design and communication concepts for business companies, institutions and communities, for exhibitions, as well as for representation and information systems. They also design books and posters. Their works for the German Bundestag in Bonn, for the Great Court of the British Museum in London, for international companies such as Daimler Chrysler and Siemens are well known.
