Photovoltaic Systems

There is no doubt that renewable energy has gained strength in recent years, as evidenced by the thousands of articles published monthly on this subject. One of the sources is solar energy, in its two variations or types: thermal solar energy and photovoltaic solar energy. Photovoltaic systems are those that use the latter type of energy. Therefore, this book presents the characteristics of this type of system, especially a very important component for these systems to work efficiently, this is the control block known as the Maximum Power Point Search (MPPT, for its acronym in English). The most popular MPPT algorithms are described and then classified using multi-criteria methods.
