The Philosophical Interpretation of Zhang Zai's Thought is the academic work of Taiwan scholar Chen Zhengyang. This book mainly explores how Zhang Zai explained the principles of Confucianism and Mencius based on the theory of Qi from multiple perspectives, and based on this, he governs his thoughts on human nature, life and death, education, and etiquette. The content is unique. In the process of elaboration, he clarified the relationship between deficiencies and etiquette in Zhang Zai's thought by referring to the mainstream thesis of Zhang Zai in the academic circles on both sides of the strait, reflecting a high academic standard. There are four appendices at the end of the book: the first is a comprehensive introduction and review of the special book on Zhang Zai's thoughts from 1950 to 2006 at home and abroad; the second mainly focuses on the research status of Zhang Zai's thoughts in Taiwan from 2007 to 2019 ; The latter two are presented in the form of a table of journal articles and master and doctoral dissertations with the title or keywords of "e;Zhang Zai"e; from 2007 to 2019. The appendix is rich and informative, providing readers with clear and useful ideas for systematically understanding the research status of Zhang Zai's thought and for scholars to carry out further research.
