Odell's parents have been kidnapped. The ransom left behind lists very special items he must collect to get them back. Influenced by his fascination with supervillains, he is willing to steal the objects he needs to free them. He gets a job working for Frances at Paws and Claws Cryptid Care taking care of mystical creatures to secretly collect the items required for his parent's return. Odell soon realizes that he is in over his head and needs help. Fantasy and adventure await those who venture into Holt Village to discover the mystical creatures within and the secrets they keep.
